It all started on the 15th of October of 2010 with 6 men and an unforgettable trip to Ashe County NC. We were all looking for a chance to get away from our routine lives and the slightly unchanging scenery in Wilmington NC. Our arrived destination brought us to The Blue Ridge Manor just outside West Jefferson on a quite, yet captivating river called the New River. The timing was right and the fall season brought a full colorful pallet of autumn in its finest. It was like we were standing in the mist of a masterpiece just after the artist had finished. Leaving there we were all refreshed from the cool mountain air, the company of each other and the friendships that grew through this new experience. After returning home my mind could not stop wondering, what if? I don’t know about you, but sometimes if you listen to the “what if”, it will lead you closer to your dreams.
